Jio Starts Charging 6 Paise per Minute for Voice Calls to Other Networks:
On Wednesday, Reliance Jio announced that they will start charging 6 paise per minute from its user if they make a call to another network. It simply means that Jio to Jio calls, Jio to landline calls, all incoming call will not charge any additional cost but if call is being made form Jio of any other network then it will charge a cost of 6 paise per minute.
This process of calling from Jio to another network is called as off-net voice calls. Jio announced four top-up vouchers ranging from Rs. 10 to Rs. 100.
Yahoo Data Breach Settlement Could Pay Out $358 to Individual Users:
According to a report, if you are living in the US or in Israel and had a Yahoo account between 2012 to 2016. Then you could be eligible for getting $358 (roughly Rs. 25,000) or more. Such many users have already received a mail from Yahoo regarding the settlement claim over the data breach.
Yahoo announced in 2017 that around 3 billion users in 2013 had affected by a data breach. In this attack, the hacker gained the access of user’s email id, phone number, date of birth, passwords and answers to security questions. And hence they decided to give the specified amount.
Call of Duty: Mobile Game crossed 100 Million Downloads in the First Week:
The mobile game named as Call of Duty has marked itself in the list of 100 Million plus active downloads within the 1st week of its official launching.
This game was launched by Activision Blizzard publisher on 1st of October. And now it made a record including Apple’s App Store and Google Play store.
Google could Unveil 5G Pixel Phone on 15th of October to Beat Apple:
According to a media report, the top search giant Google could unveil its first 5G phone alongside the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL at the hardware event on 15th of October 15. This 5G phone might give a tough competition to the 5G-supported iPhone models that are expected to debut in 2020.
Rumour says that upcoming 5G phone by Google might come as Pixel 4 XL 5G. And this device would have top-of-the-line specifications like 8GB of RAM which is the highest RAM of pixel family.
Redmi 8 With Dual Rear Cameras, Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC Launched in India:
On Wednesday, the Chinese tech company Xiaomi has launched its Redmi 8 smartphone in India. This phone is coming with a waterdrop-style display notch, dual rear camera setup, 5,000mAh battery and many more USB Type-C port.
This smartphone is carrying a price of Rs. 7,999 for its 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant and Rs. 8,999 for its 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant.
Jays x-Five Wireless Headphones Launched in India at Rs. 3,999:
The Swedish headphone maker company Jays has launched Jays x-Five Wireless headphones in India. This device is coming with 20 hours of playtime, a foldable design, integrated mic and control buttons.
This device is currently available at Rs. 3,999 on Headphone Zone.
Motorola One Macro With Dedicated Macro Camera, Helio P70 SoC Launched in India:
On Wednesday, the tech company Motorola has launched its Motorola One Macro smartphone in India. This phone is coming with a dedicated macro sensor to capture close-up photos. And also coming with a 6.2-inch display, waterdrop notch, powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC.
Its price is at Rs. 9,999 for its single 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. Currently, this phone is available only in single Space Blue colour in India. This is coming on sale from 12am of 12th of October at Flipkart.
